In the old days, it was used in a Brahmin ceremony to honor the god Siva. Teams of young men swung to great heights in an effort to snatch sacks of money (which were on a 76-foot pole!) with their teeth. The swing is elaborately crafted from fine wood and metal alloy. The original swinging seat of the swing is replaced with a beautiful hanging gong. A tiny stick on the rest allows you to hit the gong to make a sound.
